In my research in the deep internet estimated annual estate losses "leakage" in BC is between $500 million and $2 billion a year.
Now further research has to be done to find out how the actors are getting away with it. Perhaps it is because leakage happens so often that it has become normalized with beneficiaries walking away from millions of dollars a year.
